The giant King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) is the third referral specialist medical city in the country after King Fahd Medical City and King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam.
The area of the KAMC is 800,000 square meters. It was constructed with the National Project for Comprehensive Health Care, through which the ministry of Health aims to provide high quality medical services which will fulfill the aspirations and ambitions of the leadership. It is set to meet all the requirements of citizens. The accommodation capacity of the five-story building is 1500 beds, of which 500 beds have been allotted to the specialist referral hospital.The hospital covers all rare specializations.
The medical complex has digital operation rooms that are designed to be used by surgeons, surgical residents, anesthetists, operation room nurses and other surgical staff.
This surgery package integrates booking, clinical and patients’ data to provide a variety of administration and clinical reports. Apart from this, the specialist referral hospital includes 500 beds for gynecology obstetrics and children.
