The American Nurses Credentialing Center awarded Magnet Hospital Recognition to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in April 2013. Magnet Hospital is defined as a hospital where nurses provide excellent patient outcome, and have the ability to make their own decisions about the nursing practice, professional developments, and minimize staff turnarounds.
KFSHRC, Jeddah is the first hospital in Saudi Arabia to receive the Magnet Award.
